I think that's the big success of GPT. Imagine if you asked "what's your favorite type of a Google query", nearly everyone would have a different answer. In particular a substantial percentage of Google queries are only ever asked once.

Yes, because GPT-powered services are usually just lousy abstractions over the OpenAI API, and implementing them for your own custom niche will work much better.

For example, I tried Otter's meeting summarizer, and it was incomprehensible, but when I implemented it myself with GPT-4 I got stellar results.

Maybe that's the power of ChatGPT. That it is so adaptable to very individual use cases that people can apply to it to precisely their context.

I saw someone's workflow where they taught it to make its own shorthand language. Interestingly everyone ended up with their own shorthand, and yet the GPT-4 was able to understand all the individualized stuff just fine.
