Appstore discovery optimization can help, but I guess the real boost comes from press coverage, I've been trying to gain traction with my app, a full text rss news reader (shameless plug: http://www.sparserss.com : Free sparse rss pro) and am still struggling. care to share some results from your admob campaign?

I put in the minimum of $50 and had it going from Thursday morning Eastern time to Saturday. I had a limit of $10 the first day and $25 on Friday, leaving $15 on Saturday. In all, I had about 80 downloads. Since Saturday, I've only had about 20. I found admob good for traffic, but there were no ratings and feedback at all. Total impressions were about 290k with about 1250 clicks.

Please proofread the copy of your website. The titles on the site make zero sense to me unless I take a moment to parse them again and again. I mean, "Sparse Rss Pro Best Android Full Text New Reader Application" just screams spam to me. :)
