The Metaverse, Zuckerberg's Tech Obession, Is Officially Dead

I mean, nobody even understand what the Metaverse is... Is it a product? Is it a concept? Who owns it? What is Facebook's (Meta's) involvement? How does it relate to a VR headset? Is there only one metaverse, or multiple? etc...

I mean, I'm a tech person and even I don't pay enough attention to it to answer these questions. But, whether it is dead or not, time will tell.

So "Meta" will be renamed "Intelli".

Wash, rinse and repeat.

Zuck and Musk are out to prove that the universe naturally limits the number of really good business ideas/visions one person is allowed to have.

After reading the Elizabeth Holmes profile on NYT earlier today (following links from HN), maybe her mistake was trying to create a product that actually does something. If she had done it like Zuck and made some vague vision of an awesome future, then no one will know when it's failed, and the investors will shut up rather than admit to having been paid for something they can't even explain.
