For me there is a very welcome change, that apparently changed in a very recent version, but only noticed it now. Until very recently, when the browser got updated while it was in use, it interrupted the user quite impolitely when a new tab was opened, demanding restart.
This seems to be gone - I only got a non-distracting request in the "Help/About" windows to restart, but I can still use the browser. Nice!
