Sociopath Test – [Self-Test] for Antisocial Personality Disorder

They lie to everyone --- including themselves. They can't help it, it's a structural issue with their brain that can't be fixed with drugs.
This is not to say they are dumb. They learn over time what the rest of the world expects from them and how to fake it in order to fit in.
They learn rather quickly that they are expected to exhibit empathy --- even tbough they don't actually feel it.
In other words, a lot of mature sociopaths could easily pass this simple, transparent test. And I know enough about ASPD (learned the hard way) that I could easily fail it if I chose to.
Sociopaths easily fool even "professional" psychologists and psychiatrists. This explains why it is frequently undiagnosed.
IMO, to really diagnose it with any degree of accuracy would require electronic monitoring for brain activity or involuntary emotional responses --- or the lack thereof --- while being exposed to various stimuli.

At first, I was completely honest with myself, and truly gave the sincere answers - I got 20/102. (I guess I don't necessarily always see hacking and similar activities as a horribly criminal offense, even though it might be illegal)
Then I imagined what a stone cold psychopath would act like, and got a 101/102. I unfortunately have real-life experience with people like that, as we had one living in our home for 3 years when I was younger.
Lastly, I got -18/102 by doing the complete opposite.
In any case, I think that most (actual) sociopaths or psychopaths would just game the system.

FWIW I scored 21/102. Probably would have been a higher result in my early 20s.
