I mean...if you really want to utterly destroy the fabric of society and force normal people to surrender all power to government...this would be a fantastic strategy. Pretty much every "revolutionary" guide from Bakunin to present day embraces the idea that you have to make things bad enough so they break beyond repair, and in the resulting chaos, you impose your new order....
