Twitter.com Login Is Broken

I got logged out and can't log in anymore. Seems to be widespread

Yeah, there is a spike on downdetector's chart: https://downdetector.com/status/twitter/

UPD https://techcrunch.com/2023/05/01/twitter-is-randomly-loggin...

This tweet is ageing nicely: https://twitter.com/troyhunt/status/1640095846095261697

Man, I know my work PC has 1000 things slowing it down, but that tweet took 5 seconds to load for me. Death by 100 loading spinners.

There in the move fast and break things phase right now. I’ve noticed lots of small errors - reaction images not showing, small text alignment bugs, but they tend to be fixed very frequently after they happen. And the features stay.

It's messed up that twitter was a platform for speaking truth to power and then the power that truth was spoken to bought it to shut it down.

> platform for speaking truth to power

It seems more that way now, with audience being able to provide additional context to posts.

Someone tell https://twitterisgoinggreat.com/ they're back in business.

Yep. Just got logged out and cannot log back in. It redirects to logout immediately after login.

Yep, happened to me as well. Hope it's not permanent.

Oh, I dunno, I kind of hope it is.

https://nitter.net gives a certificate error

Their cert expired, nitter instances are otherwise mostly working.

Twitter is broken. It's Musk's ant-farm toy now.

I've been logged out 3 times in the past two days.

They probably didn't fire enough engineers

I opened a few trending topics in different tabs. One said to log in. Logged in only to be told I was already logged in. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
