Just to clarify things here... "his next platform" was under contract by Twitter to create Twitter 2.0. Jack Dorsey funded this new platform through Twitter itself, while he was still running Twitter.

So in a way, Dorsey is continuing doing what he believes is good for "Twitter", and he doesn't identify Elon's X as Twitter anymore.

Frankly after everything that happened, it feels justified.
