> InfluxDB 3.0 is now available in InfluxData’s cloud products: InfluxDB Cloud Serverless (our fully managed, elastic, multi-tenant database) and InfluxDB Cloud Dedicated (a fully managed, single tenant version of InfluxDB) announced today. Stay tuned for two planned, self-managed products coming later this year

-InfluxDB 3.0 Clustered: The evolution of InfluxDB Enterprise.

-InfluxDB 3.0 Edge: A single node instance for local and edge deployment that will be available later this year.

It's not clear based on this if the self-managed products will be OSS or licensed similar to the Enterprise version. My understanding is that the current IOx versions are cloud only.

We're still figuring out what will be in InfluxDB 3.0 open source. For now we're focused on our cloud offering where we can iterate and debug more quickly. We expect that the open source will fill a different need than the cloud product, but we're still not sure. The Clustered and Edge products mentioned will be commercial offerings.

Thanks for the reply Paul! Congrats to you and the team on the advancements.
