Comment: This is an interesting concept. Applying and interviewing can be a very intimidating and stressful experience. Companies that are willing to be not only transparent about the process but are willing to share videos and conversations of previous candidates (with consent) during the interview process may find that they get more relevant and motivated applicants.
Interviewees can be incentivized to contribute their recordings through a system similar to Buy Me A Coffee where viewers can tip them if they found the video helpful. Additionally, sharing their experiences and insights can also help them build their personal brand and establish themselves as experts in their field.
We understand the importance of privacy and anonymity, which is why we have a thorough sign-off process for interviewees to give their consent to share their recordings on the platform. All videos will be fully anonymized, and identifying information such as company names and personal information will be removed. We are currently working on the process to ensure that all parties involved are protected and their privacy is respected.
All videos will be reviewed for privacy and content before being published on the platform. We will work with interviewees to ensure that any sensitive business-specific information is removed or obscured from the recordings.
Let me know if you have any further questions or suggestions!
Oh, and regarding your thoughts on companies sharing videos and conversations of previous candidates during the interview process, that's definitely an interesting perspective to consider. We're starting with interviewee-submitted recordings to provide a wider range of experiences and insights, but it's worth exploring the potential benefits and drawbacks of employer-submitted content as well.
