Peter Pan syndrome is just a scientific-sounding way to call someone a man child. Especially in the context of this article full of 30+ years old women complaining that men haven't stepped up to marry them yet. They use that term to literally shame men for doing something else with their lives as if we're obligated to "man up" and marry them.
