Tiny thought experiment for my tiny mind. Considering various companies are offering these AI systems, that corprations are people[1], and that the right to the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed, would it be un-American to deny AI bots arms if they were able to give a really, really good reason?
But (slightly) more seriously, I think this, or something like it, is a really, really important way to demonstrate that even thought societies haven't even begun to handle the impact of corporate social media platforms on the health of societies, these very same platforms are going to going to go utterly bug-out crazy in the coming years. Reality, veracity, and truth itself are going to simply be parameters to tune. And tuned by ... who knows? Strap in.
