What do you mean by “should”?

Do you mean it would be morally wrong if they did not?

Do you mean they would have some sort of neurological or personality disorder if they did not?

Do you mean something else?

I mean is it correct to assume that if you made the flight it would have crashed?

I think there is no possible way to be sure of that.

What does that have to do with them feeling lucky (or not) later on?
