Ask HN: How to turn off GitHub 2FA which I have never turn in?

I want to have an ability to use Github web interface without receiving the second factor over my email. My account does not have 2FA enabled but it behaves like it did enabled. Every 95-99 times of 100 github makes me to log in my mail and confirm the 6 digits from the mail. I do it several times a day because I never store cookies, I have a lot of devices and possible IP addresses.

The problem is that I do not want to read my mail when I want to code, and I don't have any mobile device nearby. Any alternatives for hosting git projects but without need to pass through 2FA?
