Do I have a right to know who prepared my sandwich from the deli?

How about if the sandwich gives me food poisoning and I lose several days of work?

This feels like govs grandstanding and trying to show they are regulating and putting rules in place without having any clue on how to do so and coming to completely the wrong conclusions on where the threat is.

Like a deli isn't regulated?

Where I live, restaurants generally have a piece of paper prominently posted stating their grade from the health inspector.

The grade is based on sanitary conditions and equipment, not the identity of the person making your sandwich.

If you are making some sort of distinction based on a legal principle, I don't understand what it is.

It's associated with a business, which has documented licenses and owner(s), who have documented employees...

AI is the new printing press, and the establishment wants a tight grip on it as always.
