The EV charger breaking is not even something I had remotely considered - having to wait 3 weeks for a replacement charger could make the vehicle basically useless; even if you have a "regular plugin charger" extra those are much slower.

If I go EV I may have to consider convincing a neighbor to get the same type as me. I wonder if you can charge at a dealership, which may help for some.
