Sweden is being blocked by Turkey. There is Turkey presidential election soon so new president will likely change the policy.

Why would Turkey block Sweden to enter NATO rightfully after what did happen to the Ukraine ?? Oo

Some countries see distressing situations like this, as an opportunity to gain something from themselves. Some call it politics, some more fitting term - a...holery.

Turkey alleges that Sweden protects terrorists who target Turkey. Until that issue is resolved, Turkey is unlikely to ever vote yes on Sweden joining.

Turkey has developed a pattern of opportunistic behavior.

Is there seriously big terrorism issues in Turkey or is this more a case of the right wheels not being greased?

And how is this good for them or for NATO?

It does not guarantee any protection. And as Nigel Farage was saying, NATO won't start WWIII over one country being invaded.
