Argentinian Airline issues every ticket as an NFT

Don't follow crypto in general but got curious.

First off, I misread the headline as Argentinian Airlines (plural) thinking it was a large airline instead of "Low-cost carrier Flybondi has expanded its partnership with NFT ticketing company TravelX to offer all tickets as NFTs on the Algorand blockchain."

So I next looked for info on Algorand and found it as #14 on a list of cryptos for 2021 (updated for 2023). The outcome to consumers may not be all that different than say Ticketmaster, which isn't great.

So .. buy all the cheap seats and then resell them. Or have your vacation stolen by a hacker. This seems like a solution to a problem that most people don't have
