The strength of ChatGPT is that you can describe your problem in some detail then ask for recommendations to your specific problem. Then you can refine the solution offered with follow up questions which can be useful if you want to use a specific library, etc.
The timing of ChatGPT is just an unfortunate coincidence for the team at Google that’s trying to squeeze more juice out of ad revenue.
