We're at the point of AI/ML history where it's pace of improvement will continue to be underestimated my most. This is in contrast to the slow pace up to when Deep NNs started to become effective not all that long ago. Funny thing is that the 'corner' in an exponential hockey stick curve isn't different than the rest of it.

I was legitimately surprised that people thought that was a real image.
