Donald Trump indicted by Manhattan grand jury on more than 30 counts

As I understand it, they're ordinary schmos: the state has to convince them there is a story to be explored, such that an endictment is justified but it's said to be rare for the jurors not to proceed.

Basically, Trump can claim its statist attacks on him for politics but a grand jury isn't state actors, it's moms and pops. "It's all lies" wears a bit thin.
