Why I stopped reading TechCrunch and started reading HackerNews

Simple. TechCrunch sold out to AOL. And ever since you can see it reflect on the deteriorating quality and increasing quantity of posts.

Now and then I am definitely seeing posts that look like sponsored or written for the sake of it. I got tired of Techcrunch.
