Ask HN: Would you switch from full time to part time if you could?

You'd have to take a 50% pay cut for going from ~40 hrs/wk to ~20 hrs/wk, and you can discuss whether you would need to be able to keep your health benefits or not, etc.

I think there are plenty of pluses and minuses on various levels, but I'm mostly curious if _you_ would do this right now, if you were benevolent dictator of your own life, and someone asks this question to you today, and you have 24 hours to make a decision.
