Plants emit ultrasonic sounds in rapid bursts when stressed, scientists say

I learned in school almost 30 years ago that some plants emit ultrasound when they are stressed or in danger. Might be not the same kind of “pulsing” as described here, but this is clearly not news.

That’s very cool and interesting, nature never stops to surprise! I wonder what will be discovered in the future about plants, like the controversial thing about if they can feel the pain.
