Today we are launching our new Twitter API access tiers

Small developers and researchers will not be paying $100 a month for this pittance.

Calling it the "hobbyist" tier is a slap in the face.

No pricing on enterprise. I am hoping this will be custom priced for everyone and not at a minimum of $42,000, otherwise one of my ventures is basically bust.

Also pretty funny how the justification for all this by Musk was “it’s to protect from bots” yet every tier basically allows auto posting.

Crazy nosense change. $100 is damn high and 10K tweets a month is damn low. Even if you were willing to pay, the amount of tweets is so low that it's in fact totally useless.

Free tier that allows 1500 automated tweets

hmm how will this combat bots again?

Final barrier to combating spam, robots and mischief has always been charging money. Wonder how their free (write-only) tier will fare...
