New BigQuery Pricing Editions

"Taking into account BigQuery’s serverless functionality, query performance, and capability improvements, we are increasing the price of the on-demand analysis model by 25% across all regions, starting on July 5, 2023."

To be honest, this seems like a 25% price increase justified by existing features, not new ones. In fact in most cases it seems like you'll be losing account to features. Really not a great look, especially for what is arguably GCP's best product.
