I know it's "just" a client, but man seeing advanced AI in amber characters on a beige device gives me such wonderful Neuromancer vibes

That screen is a work of beauty. I set up all my shells to amber characters; to me it's the most eye-friendly color for the task, a whole lot better than green.

I've done that too, but even better was when I used Compiz on Linux. I made a filter that you could use to toggle any window or the whole screen to amber with a hotkey. It was much more useful than the spinning cube of desktops. Probably the closest I ever got to a consistent color theme on Linux, as well.

Well, at least it's (slightly) more than a dumb terminal, as it's actually running the TCP stack and json parsing on the machine.

I'm slightly over-saturated with old PC's being reduced to dumb terminals :)

I wonder what it'd take to actually do the modern HTTPS stuff on it, sure it'd be a very slow experience :P
