Chat plugins LITERALLY came out yesterday in closed alpha. Give it some time geez! :)

This was not about plugins, more a general example how, for now, ChatGPT does not help solve the curation issue at all

You still need to actually write the API to communicate with the gpt generated payload.

Or take it a step further, and we have "on demand" app creation. The AI offers some ideas, you pick one, and it outputs a turnkey solution.
