Religion has no place in school as it is, except to teach in high school that this is what some people believe (and Christianity should not receive any preference).

The sooner we stop indoctrinating kids into nonsense, the sooner we can have a better society with more rational actors.

While I fully agree with that, I think that having books of all sorts available for interested students in the school library is fine; I put the Bible, Quran, Main Kempf and Karl Marx's Das Kapital on the list of "available for anyone interested", but not mandatory reading. (and I would put 1984 on mandatory reading, but I agree this may not be a great idea)

They did it the wrong way. They should have made the complaint seem very honest instead of an attack, and it would have made it much harder for the school district to say anything. Now they can just brush it off as a troll attempt.

I think this is trolling, but they have a point: if you pass legislation that forbids something, you need to treat everything equal under the law - ban everything or nothing. Banning everything is dumb, so ban nothing - hiding information is not the way, never was and never will, same as security by obscurity.

> I think this is trolling

I've gotta admit, I felt obliged to click the link and find out, because the other option was all too believable given <waves hands around>
