Famous Book Hoarders

Well, I have over 5000 physical books as of my last count from a few years ago. I'm surrounded by many more bought since then.

Oh, and I have several thousand PDF books. And over 800 on my Kindle.

I've read several hundred of them (yes, I keep a spreadsheet, don't you?)

I had my own key to the library in high school because I'd be there when the librarian wanted to leave.

I had my own key to the library at college because I repaired the copy machines so I could go any time, often at night.

My children and I used to spend our weekends at the bookstore. Everybody would choose a pile of books to read. We sat at a table and drank sodas and coffee.

Interesting people write interesting books. You get to spend time with them.
