Information about the Closure of the Project

The epitome of what not to do as far as I'm concerned.

Ads are ok - just don't be sneaky about it, and don't go way of porn - esp full on stuff. In other words vet very carefully before accepting an advertiser on a site.

But a fraction over two years ago zippyshare went mad with porn. If they woke up eventually, it would have been too late, most people I knew who used it on and off, had moved.

I used to send files by way of zippy, no fuss password protected obviously small stuff I wanted to send over - but it became really NSFW and I had to change to another.

Of course it also means people aren't using it to share files to people who may have children in the same room - it really was over the top stuff, not the polite most one would see was naked boobies.
