I think most people understand social interaction is critical. Even dedicated homeschoolers set up regular interaction between peers so their children get socialization time.

If anything, a really good personalized virtual teacher could minimize the amount of time we have to spend learning the basics, freeing up time to play and socialize. But yes, as adults we have to make sure that's how it plays out.
