Have you seen the "Example of Chemical Compound Similarity and Purchase Tool Use" prompt in the "GPT-4 System Card" document? [1]

It's an interesting format that could be adapted for things like internet or bank access today - you would just need to write the wrapper.

We have bot investors already without chatGPT (or algorithmic trading), and have for years now. You'd probably have better luck with them right now.

A form of it will definitely happen and it will be posted in /r/wallstreetbets. Considering what people were doing with their investments on it before then AI-assisted investing can only be an upside. They will still lose money but maybe it won't be 99.999% loss but a 99.99% one.

Somehow I’m pretty confident that AI + high frequency trading have been besties for some time.
