Frequent TV Series Cancellations Altering Viewer Behavior, Survey Shows

The main issue is that the people behind TV have huge disrespect for their lowly viewers, and we, as viewers are starting to lose trust and faith in their decision making and so we're doing the sensible thing and waiting.

What's needed is a contract with the viewers so that a single extended length "wrap up" show is guaranteed to be made to round out the story in a satisfactory way - no more cliffhangers or partial stories.

Optimally, I think. the best series tend to be 5 seasons or less, more frequently probably 3 or less. British TV usually seems less agenda oriented and more character driven than the typical American series.
