Dry Transfers: Letraset (2017)

Letraset is interesting but this article is bad. It's full of nonsense and just badly written overall.

It's a bunch of text mashed together to place high on a search engine.

For a lot more detail, and an amazing collection of images, I very highly recommend Brook and Shaughnessy's book "Letraset: The DIY Typography Revolution" [0]

Last year I got a bunch of these on eBay. Not letter sets but abstract patterns (the idea is to use these for backgrounds in my small-size drawings).

Haven't used one yet, but finding them was quite a trip through memory lane.

Evoking strong memories of browsing Letraset in a shop on King St in Cambridge in the early 90’s.

It's used a lot in signage. Unfortunately the process is quite expensive and unsuited for one-offs.
