Ask HN: Is HN listing what seems paid links now?

I currently have this post sitting in the middle of my list:

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35008423

It is not possible to comment on it, nor upvote it or anything. IS this a paid link? (Also no notice of it being paid or anything)

Tesorio is a ycombinator company. This is a ycombinator board - you'll see job ads for their companies appear from time to time. They tend to sit in the middle somewhere for the day and then they'll drop off.

> Another kind of job ad is reserved for YC-funded startups. These appear on the front page, but are not stories: they have no vote arrows, points, or comments. They begin part-way down and fall steadily. Only one is on the front page at a time. The rest are listed at jobs.

"now"? These have been a thing since before you joined HN.
