PS, if you're still watching this space: Clojure is an obvious one. It's called the "thread" operator and is a bit more flexible in that you can thread into the first argument (->) or the last (->>). This definitely works for Clojure and whether or not this is a good idea in other languages could be debated ad-nauseam.
