In general, when purchasing something for billions, a rational agent would want it to keep working and improve thoroughly and holistically. Destroying things isn't creative chaos, it's organizational entropy and decline. Musk could be even more successful that he is if we more mature and shrewder rather than putting megalomania first. These are, unfortunately, his leadership and business personality shortcomings on display that destroy brand goodwill, employee morale, and overall respect. It's an organizational equivalent of the grizzled drunken uncle spoiling the family holiday and kicking the Christmas tree on their way out.
