There's a lot more information about her group on this page. They seem to have had a surprisingly large impact even during WWII, in Germany and internationally.
p.s. The 2005 German movie Sophie Scholl: The Final Days is about the group's last 6 days.

"Please respond to the strongest plausible interpretation of what someone says, not a weaker one that's easier to criticize." Sorry, I should've used a more objective phrase than "surprisingly large". I meant, I would have expected the group would have been crushed and noone heard about them around Germany during the war, let alone overseas, when instead, well, reading those two pages I was surprised, and gratified, by the impact they had, during WWII in Germany and around the world, and ever since. What else could my comment mean?!
> Of course that was right after Stalingrad
"Of course" is never a helpful phrase I think, except for patting oneself on the back. What is this, Peep Show?! I can't help hearing that in David Mitchell's voice. e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApslS7RKxYA
White Rose was useless and didn't produced any positive outcomes. All it accomplished was getting some kids dead. And if it was so intellectual, why they didn't tough about making it a bit harder to catch all core members in on swoop?
BTW. any non-violent movement can be easily ignored if alternatively there is no threat of violence. "You can talk with us or alternatively with people willing to put bombs into your car. The choice is yours. You can try neither, but there is non zero possibility that one day bomb in your car will be missed and your successor will be more willing to have a talk."
You can deal with Gandhi or deal with several million Indian nationals who want your heads on pikes.
You can deal with Dr. King or you can deal with Malcom X and the Panthers.
Etc...
I'm sorry, what?
