No cited myocardial side effects from the aspirin to my knowledge, though the risk of internal bleeding is higher.

It has taken many years of clinical experience to refine and validate the aspirin recommendations. The COVID vaccines are really just out of the starting gate…nice to hear, but I’d like to see a comparison with other (less invasive/more benign) treatment options, e.g. think you have COVID, start taking baby aspirin.
