If you compare a CEO to a normal person living a wealthy, healthy life in a wealthy, pleasant city, I think being a CEO is actually a bad choice. Most parts of the world are so bad that for people who live in them, the idea that being a CEO is actually a bad thing sounds mocking or ridiculous, and it's hard to get past that.
