New online superstore surpasses Amazon and Walmart to become most downloaded app

> In the fourth quarter of last year, US app installations for Temu exceeded those for Amazon (AMZN), Walmart (WMT) and Target (TGT), according to Abe Yousef, a senior insights analyst at the analytics firm Sensor Tower.

Title should read "New online superstore surpasses Amazon and Walmart to become most downloaded app in the past quarter". This is just more drop shipping garbage.

Investigators should look into the scam practices Temu is doing. I got a referral link from a website promising a “free gift”, after I signed up it gave me multiple Zygna stile games (FarmVille clone etc) which all eventually says you are out of coins. Searching online seems you need to refer at least 6 people to get enough coins for that promised “free gift” that “sign up to get”.

I gave up after knowing that, I am not sure how many people will be scammed to do things like spend more money to get that “free gift”.

Products purchased from Temu will last almost long enough to survive being shipped.

Almost.

They basically sell the bargain-bin of the bargain bin: clothes that make H&M seem as durable as Levi's in comparison, shoes that almost feel better than just walking barefoot on gravel, and electronics that might not blow a fuse or explode the first time you use them.
