AirBnB should be controlled because it's annoying to have tourists in residential zones.

But it seems weird to propose cutting the visas to help the housing crisis.

If there's a housing crisis then build more houses to increase supply, don't cripple the economy to reduce demand.

Build more houses, where? There's no lack of houses in the sticks, you can't just raze the city center and build skyscrapers.

Sounds simple enough, but there's a small problem.

Increasing supply might negatively affect property values.

... And people influencing policy are likely property owners, or at least represent property owners.
