Now if they would allow me to permanently disable Edge for PDFs. Every week and sometimes several times a week I need to reset Windows 10 default PDF reader off of Edge and back to SumatraPDF. Or delete Edge entirely.

I work with secure pdfs at work quite often, and yes Edge randlomy try to open pdfs. Sending me to reset the pdf handler to an external app or force a download and then open app, point to file, open.

under my breath...another worklfow broken grumblegrumble and time added when I did not need it grumblegrumble, how do I force a change/automate, more time lost grumblegrumble

I actually like Edge as a PDF viewer. It's the only reason I use Edge at all. It loads quickly, doesn't try to sell me things, and stays out of the way.

Sumatra seems like a nice tool. It can't possibly be worse than Adobe Reader.
