We're always having this same rehashed argument over and over again on HN. "My [CPU manufacturer] grew by 100% this year." Market share is an absolute percentage, so you should talk about it using absolutes. It doesn't make sense to talk about relative increases unless we're talking only about AMD revenue without respect to the overall market.
But even doing the percentage difference, I calculate a 10.2 percent increase.
So I'll just shut up and go face the corner with the parent poster.
