Comments moved thither. Thanks!

Thank you for introducing me to the word thither.

Why's it hidden from the frontpage?

edit: its second for me.. guess the algorithm prioritizes newness or something

A few reasons, including that it set off the flamewar detector a.k.a. overheated discussion detector; and we downweighted it because there have been countless yet-another-layoffs-story posts recently, so the bar for interestingness has to be higher.
