The Generative AI Race Has a Dirty Secret

I hesitate to call it trash because it's not quite that bad, they at least do some actual research.
But it's all presented in such a tedious "everything is super terible/epic/mind blowing/life changing/will kill you/save your life/destroy society/save society" manner that I can't handle it. Some things are interesting to read about without needing to go all hypersonic hyperbolic on them. In fact, pretty much everything that wired.com. writes about is like that. I would love to read long form well researched tech articles that go into a decent amount of detail but are still light enough to read over coffee on the morning. But just... Leave out the sensationalism unless it's genuinely warranted, which is almost never. It's exhausting when everything is presented that way.
