>In a retaliatory outburst, Musk sacked one of the engineers on the spot. “You’re fired, you’re fired,” he declared, according to Platformer’s journalists and attributed to unnamed sources close to the matter.
Holy fuck, I can't believe people still work there.
I expect there could be contexf missing from the exchange.
It would be interesting if there was a red-team shadowban of him. Not outside the realm of possible.
There was recently a puff piece in the news about how Elon is overworked. But that's no excuse for paranoid redpilled behavior any more than it is for amplifying vatnik propaganda, which he has also recently done.
I'm pretty sure it has everything to do with the algorithms, and no one really understands how they work.
I can understand how Elon wants answers about the algorithms, and those answers aren't forthcoming.
Lots of Wierd stuff going on with the algos
Algorithms are by definition the specific ways we have designed computer programs to work. They are by definition knowable and known.
Advertisers are turning away. Wouldn’t the simplest explanation be that fewer people are listening to him because fewer people are interested in what he has to say? No need to raise the absurd and (to the audience here certainly) silly boogeyman of “the unknowable algorithm”
