SpaceX admits blocking Ukrainian troops from using satellite technology

Makes me wonder what compromat they gained on Musk. He has done a complete 180 on support for Ukraine.

Even if SpaceX took advantage by having others pay but claimed the credit for themselves in the beginning, they were at least interested in that positive publicity. Now it seems to be the opposite.

This tech is clearly critical to the future security of the United States. If SpaceX isn't careful, they could find themselves at the wrong end of the Government Force Projection Tool.

Or maybe it's just a smart PR move to avoid Starlink being seen (even more so) a military weapon?

It's critical for Starlink's financial success that it be used as broadly as possible, otherwise satellites will be underutilized over large areas. They still have to win over a large portion of the world.

According to SpaceX Ukraine is using SpaceX for "offence" purposes - hence the disconnect. WTF, the whole world knows that Ukraine is defending against Ruzzia. Apparently, only Elon Musk and his team in SpaceX are so close to the Russians that are totally out of line.

To be a fly on the wall and be privy to what Medvedev told Blinken and to know what the Russian armed forces have in their back pocket.
