Ask HN: Hate Musk but Love ChatGPT?

Would love hear if people have opinions like, "Musk will ruin ChatGPT just like he ruined Twitter."

Musk has zero influence over OpenAI's current projects.

It used to be, not anymore. I wasn't aware of that when I started the thread.

Musk was kicked out of OpenAI

Was he kicked out or did he resign? I didn't realize that before, as I just looked it up, but there is a big difference between the two.

I don't think there is any difference if the project you left goes on to have a great success.

Now OpenAI is not yet a great commercial success but it's considerably closer to that compared to when the relationship with Musk ended.
